Mechanical Design Engineer – 10–15 Years’ Experience We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with 10–15 years of relevant experience to join our team for a project in Sulaymaniyah, Kurdistan. Key Responsibilities: Develop and review mechanical designs for building and infrastructure projects. Prepare HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and other mechanical system designs. Prepare and review mechanical drawings, layouts, calculations, specifications, and technical reports. Coordinate mechanical designs with architectural, structural, electrical, and other disciplines. Review design requirements, project specifications, and applicable codes and standards. Ensure designs are technically sound, practical, and compliant with project requirements. Review shop drawings and technical submittals from contractors. Attend design coordination meetings and resolve technical/design issues. Provide technical support during construction when required.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. 10–15 years of mechanical design experience. Strong experience in HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and MEP design. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and relevant engineering/design software. Strong knowledge of international codes and standards. Experience with large-scale residential, commercial, hospitality, or mixed-use projects is preferred. Strong coordination and communication skills. Kurdistan/Iraq project experience is an advantage.
